Peach Veterinary Care

My little dog got bit by a snake I think water moccasin took him to the emergency vet on Russell parkway which absolutely done nothing told me to be there at 6:00 in the next morning to pick him up and take him to my regular vet so I took him to peach veterinary care and boy and they done a wonderful job thank you for so much for saving my dog

I have a 16 year old dog that is nearing the end and called peach veterinary care. They would not take him because we had not been there in years. Champ is his name. He belonged to my daughter, Amanda Rogers. She passed away and then champ came to live with me. She took champ to peach veterinary care for years and then I took champ there for emergencies, when I could get them or they weren't booked. There were times when they couldn't see him. I deworm, use 4H rabies clinics, and heart prevention for my animals. I did not want to see my champ suffer. I am alpauled at being told we are not a customer. Their services say for the ill or injured.Other vets would not see him because we are not their customers. What are they there for?

I would not recommend this veterinary clinic to anyone based on my recent experience. My biggest concern was Dr. Gilles’ bedside manner and the lack of communication throughout what was already a stressful emergency. Before leaving my dog, I specifically asked to speak with the veterinarian so I could understand the plan of care. I was told Dr. Gilles was finishing surgery, which I completely understood, and I was willing to wait. Instead, I was told she would be going to lunch after surgery. I then asked if she could please call me after returning from lunch. That call didn’t come until about two hours after she returned from lunch, and the only reason I finally heard from anyone was because we repeatedly called the clinic asking for updates. Throughout the visit, there was never a clear explanation of the action plan for my dog or what would happen if his condition became an emergency. As a worried pet owner, that lack of communication was incredibly frustrating. When I finally spoke with Dr. Molli Gilles and explained why I was upset, I wasn’t looking for excuses. I simply wanted someone to acknowledge my concerns and say they understood my frustration and would work to improve communication in the future. Instead, I received a generic apology for my “experience,” which felt dismissive rather than empathetic. To make matters worse, Dr. Molli Gilles stated she had no idea I was coming in. That was simply not true. We called ahead, explained the situation in detail, and were specifically instructed to bring our dog to the clinic. I understand that emergencies happen and veterinary staff are often extremely busy. My frustration is not with having to wait—it’s with the poor communication, lack of empathy, and feeling like my concerns were not heard. Better communication and compassion would have made a very difficult situation much easier to navigate.
