I truly don't think I'd still have my sweet mare with me today if it weren't for Dr. Cook and her team. I brought Lilly in as an emergency when she was choking, and she made it through pneumonia recovery; then, Dr. Cook dissolved a large mass she found in her stomach. Her facility and property are absolutely gorgeous, and I appreciate everyone for showing me around and showing my girl so much love and care. Lilly is doing very well 🤗

Dr. Cook is the most experienced and knowledgeable equine vet in the area. She and Dr. Smith are both very professional, knowledgeable and competent. I know that when my horses are under their care, I don't have to worry. Central Georgia Equine Services has a very competent staff on duty. The facility is absolutely gorgeous, clean, and the horses are well cared for. I highly recommend.

The staff have been called on multiple times for emergencies- farm calls, emergency clinic visits, and routine visits. Each time, the care has been phenomenal. When your horse has an injury or illness, it is extraordinarily stressful for all. Dr. Cook, Dr. Smith, and all the staff have been kind, professional, and are the absolute best at diagnosing, treating and caring for the horses and their people! Not only is the emergent care incredible, the docs follow up to make sure there are no set backs and they are always available for questions and reassurance. This is the best practice around!!

My 3 year old horse, Nugget, impaled his groin on a large stick. His injury was about a foot deep. We called Doctor Smith out and she came out and could put her whole arm inside his injury and still didn't reach the end. She packed the wound with sterile gauze and antibiotic ointment. She gave him shots, one antibiotic and a tetanus shot. Before that she flushed the wound out with saline solution. Dr. Smith was very professional and very nice and concerned for my horse. Dr. SMITH came out two more times and gave him more antibiotics and pain pills. I'm happy to report that Nugget has made a full recovery with the help of Dr Smith and prayers and faith. Dr. Smith is an excellent veterinarian and we appreciate her so much. I almost forgot to mention Dr. Smiths associate, she was in tune with my horse and kept him calm. She was great asset too.
