We’ve taken our dog Ellie, who has idiopathic seizures to Dr. Moorehead for the past three years. Dr. Moorehead and his staff are kind, empathetic, and supportive to Ellie as a patient, and to us, as well. Ellie is six, going on seven years old. She was a year old when she started having seizures. The occur when she sleeps, usually in the middle of the night. For two years we searched for the why and how to eliminate them, or reduce their intensity and frequency. She was on six different medications, which did reduce the frequency and intensity of the seizures, turned her into a shell of her former self, in regards to energy and personality. We learned of Dr. Moorehead through word of mouth. We were curious if a more holistic approach, involving nutrition and supplements might work as well or better than the heavy doses of pharmaceuticals. Long story short, after three years, we have reduced the doses of the pharmaceuticals, and eliminated others all together. We have also eliminated certain things from Ellie’s die. We have added nutritional supplements, and as a result Ellie has fewer seizures, about one a quarter vs a couple of times a month. She is on less medication, which is less taxing on her liver and other organs that process all the medications. AND Ellie is more active and interactive, than prior to our engagement with Dr. Moorehead’s practice.

I have been seeing a hollistic practitioner for years for myself. FINALLY found a vet that does that same practices with animals as I have done for myself. Muscle testing is the BEST way to find out what is truly going on with your pet/yourself, and it's usually the quickest! We still did blood test to rule out anything we didn't catch in muscle testing, but I do the same for my own health. It's so much better than just 'guessing' the ailments with tons of tests and multiple trips to the vet. I sure wish more mainstream docs/vets would get ahold of this sort of testing. We really like Dr Moorehead and his staff!! Always sweet to my dogs and they really care about their treatments. I have 2 seniors and they have gotten much better but they are seniors I can only expect so much. They both receive excellent care and alot of kindness.I love the holistic approach and have learned a ton of information. I began seeing Dr. Cameron Moorehead after my second miscarriage in 2022, during one of the most physically and emotionally difficult periods of my life.
