I originally took my cat Callie here to get fixed, and they did an excellent job taking care of her. They kept us very informed and answered questions we had. My most recent and more impressionable experience with the lovely people at RAH though has been with my cat Lemon. We adopted Lemon at the beginning of 2025 from McKamey. My daughter's chose him out and the whole family loved him so quickly from the start because of his sweet and playful personality. A while back from current date, we noticed Lemon seemed to be catching a cold. It eventually got really bad and he lost a lot of weight and was not acting like his usual self. We ended up taking Lemon in to RAH, because we had such a positive experience with them with Callie. We knew that he wasn't well, but didnt realize how in danger he was. They ran tests on Lemon and it turned out he had FIP ( a often fatal diagnosis if not caught soon enough and treated ) during the testing phase, the vets kept me informed and showed true compassion checking in on him. They set us up with a support group for pet owners who have dealt with FIP pets of their own. We were able to be directed to a place that we could pick up injections of a medicine that has a really high success rate if used as specified. ( we also got pills ) After we began that, lemons eyes started getting really bad and they eventually started having blood tinged discharge. We took him back in, and they did some checks and his eye had an ulcer and there was a chance he could have lost his eye. They were so kind and helpful and instead of like dusting their hands off and being like " well there really isnt any hope so there isn't anything we can do " they gave us every chance, and we all held on to hope. After many doses of antibiotic ointments, serums, and oral suspensions.... we are all glad to see that Lemon has made a tremendous recovery. We still have a while to go with the FIP treatments, but I can already tell thanks to RAH's guidance, our little boy Lemon is acting so much like his old self already. I could never thank the whole staff and the Doctors there at Ringgold Animal Hospital enough. Lemon is part of our family and now we get to love him much longer than we might have had a chance to had they not been so insightful, honest, and amazing!!! I highly recommend this place... 100/10!!! (Thank you guys)

We had taken our cat here several times with no problem. Our regular vet was not open. We thought we found another vet, for when our cat got sick with his regular stomach condition. We thought they could handle him, because he gets scared and acts wild at the vet. Once the older vet gave him his shots and came out carrying him in a towel which we were surprised he was so calm. The last 2 times he went they put him in a mesh bag and put him back in his carrier. He was really freaked out when he got home. That traumatized him even more and that was not a good thing. The last time the vet was totally ugly to my husband and said our cat was this close to not coming back there. Well that was more than fine because with the treatment they gave our cat the last 2 times we had no intention of taking him back. They also charge more than our regular vet does. They got mad at my husband for asking how much medicine they were giving him. He just wanted to see if they were giving him as much as Dr Rogers because he was not staying well as long as usual. After the last visit our cat got sick a couple weeks later instead of the usual 4 months. We were glad Dr Rogers was back in his office because we had to take him to get the dosage he needed. No problem we will not be back to Ringgold

Dr. Emerson and the entire staff could not have been more caring and thorough. Our regular vet was closed and our elderly dog had a sudden occurrence of an issue we hadn't seen before. On recommendation from a relative, we called and they gave us an appointment right away. That level of care is hard to find these days..so, I highly recommend Ringgold Animal Hospital.

My family and I have been coming to Ringgold Animal Hospital for many years now and I cannot recommend them enough. I put my full trust in Dr. Clarke, Dr. Emerson, and everyone on their team. I recently came here for an emergency visit and had to let my soul cat Piggy cross the rainbow bridge. He was my best fur friend and I loved him beyond what words can describe. They showed my family and my friend tenderness and care during this difficult time, and even mailed us a card. I appreciate all of you and the hard work everyone puts into this practice. Thank you.
