Wouldn’t see my dog because he didn’t take trazadone. I do not give him trazadone because he does not react well to it. I have been there many times and my dog has not given any problems. Do not recommend this place and will not be returning. *EDIT* “Aggression and handling intolerance” as he was laying on the floor between my legs with a muzzle on. Also the text says “if your dog requires calming medication.” My dog does not, he never takes it and never will. I have been going to this vet for 3 years and never had an issue until the last visit with a woman vet who I have heard bad things about. There was never any notes about him being aggressive, the only notes they had were “very anxious, alligator rolls when going somewhere he doesn’t want to.” I do not even have any trazodone at my house to give him as he does not take it. It’s okay though, I found a new vet in Port Wentworth that is cheaper and happily takes my dog without requiring sedatives. Judging by the reviews for your business, I would say you have more issues than you think.

UPDATE: I originally left only a one-star rating with no written explanation. After seeing the hospital's response, I feel it is necessary to explain why. My rating was not because you were unable to squeeze Pepper into an already-full schedule, nor was it because of the appointment I did not return for. I did not return because, by that point, I had taken Pepper to another veterinary hospital and decided to continue her care there. My concern is the care I received during the visits I did attend. I brought Pepper here multiple times, paid an exam fee each time, and still did not have a clear solution while her condition continued to get worse. I understand that an exam is necessary and that a diagnosis is not always immediate. However, after multiple visits and multiple exam fees, I was frustrated that we were still in essentially the same position. When Pepper's condition became bad enough that I felt she needed immediate attention, I contacted your office and even showed up with pepper and was told she could not be seen that day. I then went to another veterinary hospital. They saw her that same day, evaluated what was happening, provided medication including steroids, explained a treatment plan, and discussed ongoing allergy treatment. Pepper improved after receiving that care. So respectfully, mentioning that I rescheduled and later did not return for an appointment does not address the reason for my rating. I didn't fail to return and then complain that my dog wasn't treated. I sought treatment elsewhere because my dog needed help, received that help, and chose not to return. I spent approximately $70 to $80 on examinations during multiple visits that may have easily totaled over $200 to $300 here without getting the resolution I was seeking. At the other hospital, one visit resulted in treatment, a plan, and improvement in my dog's condition. That difference in experience is why I rated the two hospitals differently. I wish your hospital well, but I also believe customers should be able to leave an honest rating based on their experience without having unrelated information presented in a way that makes it appear they were irresponsible with their pet's care. Pepper absolutely received the care she needed. I simply chose to obtain it somewhere else.
