Dr. Pope at Darien Veterinary Hospital was outstanding. I brought my dog Katie in on Friday, and he took his time with her, answered every question thoroughly, and offered thoughtful recommendations tailored to her needs. As someone newly relocated from New York, I felt completely at ease trusting him with Katie’s care. The entire visit was calm, reassuring, and genuinely compassionate. Highly recommend.

When our two French Bulldogs suffered heat stroke, we experienced one of the scariest moments of our lives. From the moment we arrived at Darien Animal Hospital, Dr. Pope and his entire staff acted immediately with incredible professionalism, compassion, and urgency. Their quick response and outstanding care truly saved our dogs. We are convinced that without Dr. Pope’s expertise and decisive actions, we would have lost our beloved Sunny. Thanks to him and his amazing team, both of our dogs made it through this terrifying experience. We are forever grateful to Dr. Pope and everyone at Darien Animal Hospital for the exceptional care they provided. We can’t thank them enough and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a veterinary team that truly goes above and beyond.

ZERO STARS!! Terrible place. Disgusted at the mistreatment. I have no words for this establishment other than, go somewhere else. I'll be taking my dog and cats to a vet that actually cares about their patients.

Fantastic staff that has been our go to for almost 4 years - priced appropriately and will always make sure you know all your options. I trust what they suggest and am happy how easy it is to get pet prescriptions refilled. Great vet!
