North Hills Animal Hospital

The staff at North Hills is amazing. My dog, Sabrina has been there twice. Once was a scheduled appointment and once as a walk-in. Even as a walk-in they were as prompt and thorough as they could be. They are a smaller office and do their best to get you in and out but manage to make you feel heard and cared for and not like just a number. Their hours are also great and their pricing is very very fair compared to some other offices.

My partner and I just had another excellent experience at North Hills . The front desk and medical assistant staff were friendly, professional and skilled. Our blind chihuahua that throws an epic tantrum while getting a nail trim, was handled by the technicians with such patience and kindness. The practice has unique operating hours. They schedule daytime appointments and they are open from 5-7 in a way similar to an urgent care center. They accept walk ins and prioritize emergency care. Last year we utilized this service , our dog Pork Chop was in a dire shape with severe accrue pancreatitis . This was Friday afternoon on a holiday weekend. What happened next was one of the most touching and inspiring experiences of our lives. Dr. Bentley is the North Hills doctor and owner. We had seen her before for brief routine care and always been pleased but hardly had a long standing history. The doctor kindly and clearly explained to us that Pork Chop was very sick. She then told us that in these unique situations she able was able to provide 24 hour off site medical care for very sick animals . He needed iv fluids, medication and close supervision for the next couple of days. Our beloved shitzu was knocking on deaths door, he was give life saving care on a holiday weekend by a vet doctor who we barely knew and was nursed back to health and is still thriving . The whole experience was so loving, generous and beyond our wildest expectations . Setting aside that experience, all of our routine visits for our three dogs were handled with excellent service and care. Dr. Bentley communicates in a clear way that is both direct and with empathy. In a shocking twist, the pricing does not correlate with the excellent care received. The pricing is more than fair. . We are so grateful to have accidentally found North Hills and Dr. Bentley. Had an amazing experience here today. Both of my kittens fell ill and we had to rush them to the vet. This was the closest practice to my house. We walked in and they were taken back within seconds. I felt so much care and compassion. We are currently waiting for an update, but this made the whole experience so much easier to bare. We have a new vet for life. Thank you in particular to Manuella for your kindness to this very scared new baby kitty momma.
