I like it here, that is the only reason we are still here. However, we received a terribly prognosis for our dog with no additional direction from the vet (the professional.) Basically, we were told we were looking at 200 to 300 days left with her. Devastated, I went home with her upset, but decided to do my own (not educated in vet medicine) research. I quickly (one search on Gemini) found many dogs diagnosed with the same thing found relief in their symptoms and longevity of life by changing what we were feeding her. We researched and did the work to create a new diet for her, make all her food now, and she is still living and doing much better (3 years later!!) I get it, though, this is the problem with medicine these days. They tell you what they know (that's why it's called "practicing" medicine) and get you out the door and on to the next patron- who probably has been waiting for more than 25 minutes like we often do. Again, the people are friendly, I don't expect much more from other vets, so we remain here. It's just what we have dealt with and think other should know. Give your pets real food (Google it) and watch them live longer, healthier lives.

Love the staff here. They treat all my pets wonderfully and the prices are more than manageable.

Cataula Veterinary Hospital is filled with the most kind and compassionate caregivers for our fur babies. Everyone I came in contact seemed just as concerned for my pet as I was, Write down to the young man who sent me the text telling me that my baby was done with surgery and did well. I see Dr. Klardy, but for one reason or another I’ve seen other vets there and they’re all wonderful. This is a place that you can trust your furry little friend to be treated well.
