I took my cat who is 9 yrs old here abt a week ago bc he hadn't been to a vet in a couple yrs and he was way over due for his shots (the fiv & the leukemia vac and his rabies) I also wanted to make sure he didn't have worms. I specifically told them all this. When they brought him back to me the lady said he was fine. I asked if he has worms, she said no. So I assumed all was taken care of. I got a hard copy of the visit, upon looking at the print out when I got home all he recieved was his rabies and a shot for his tummy. Today I was scooping up his poop and there were little white tape worms in it! Truly not understanding why this happened?? It's very hard for me at my age to get out and drive anymore due to serious health issues. When I called abt this the lady said I could bring him back in a couple weeks for those shots that I took him for IN THE FIRST PLACE. I really wanted to find a gud vet bc where I was going b4 was in Dalton, which was too far for me to drive. I'm really dissapointed, and I will have to yet again search for a good vet. Perhaps a good vet is just a hopeful vision that has no reality at all and the only reality w veterinary care for our pets is solely based on $$$? No wonder so many cats and dogs run loose..not spayed/neutered or cared for is bc ppl just cannot afford to do the right thing. I gave 2 stars bc the clinic was very clean.
